Die Mittelalterliche Quellen gelten als Beweis daf\u00fcr, dass es in der romanischen Rotunde auf dem Ska\u0142ka H\u00fcgel auf Befehl von Boleslaw II den Gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen den Bischof von Krakau, Stanislau von Szczepan\u00f3w ermordert wurde und sp\u00e4ter im Jahre 1253 heiliggesprochen. Die Geschichte des Heiligen sagt, dass ein Adler seinen K\u00f6rper in ein See geworfen haben, dass durch ein Wunder geheilt wurde. Damit k\u00fcndigt er die Vereinigung der Bezirken des K\u00f6nigreiches. Bis zum heutigen Tag funktioniert ein Teich des Heiligen Stanislaus. Dank ihrer mystischen Offenbarungen verbreitet sie auf der ganzen Welt den Kult der G\u00f6ttlichen Barmherzigkeit. Bis zum heutigen Tag k\u00f6nnen Sie die Zelle sehen, wo sie gestorben ist. Im Sanktuarium gibt es die \u00dcberreste des heiligen Christi des Barmherzigen. Im Jahr 2000 wurde die Schwester Faustina vom Papst Johannes Paul II heiliggesprochen, zugleich wurde dieser Tag als Fest der G\u00f6ttlichen Barmherzigkeit benannt. Die Relikte vom Heiligen Johannes Paul II kann man in der sogenannten Reliquien Kirche sehen, d.h. der untere Teil der wunderbaren, auf einem achteckigen Grundriss gebaut, der auf der byzantinischen Architektur von Ravenna nachgebildet wurde. Das wichtigste Andenken ist ein Fl\u00e4schchen mit Blut, dass nach Krakau direkt von der r\u00f6mischen Poliklinik Gemelli geschickt wurde. Im oberen Teil der Kirche kann man auch die mit Blut bedeckte Soutane sehen, dass Johannes Paul II w\u00e4hrend des Anschlages auf sein Leben im Mai 1981 durch Ali Agca getragen hat. Sie besuchen auch die Kapelle in Anlehnung an die Wawel Krypte vom Heiligen Leonard, wo Karol Wojtyla seine erste Messe hielt. In der Kapelle ist auch eine Platte aus dem Grab des Papstes. All diese Andenken sind eine spirituelle Verbindung mit dem Heiligen.
